hei tiki

Last  Friday we went to the Rotorua  museum, we learnt about hei tiki with matua George and whaea Rebecca,  you can see matua George in the photo. We learnt about guide safier who saw the war konoe we learnt about the diffrent types  of hei tiki  like  whale bone and green stone cheaper ones will be of cow bown.a tiki is only called a hei tiki if it is warn around the neck then we made  own tiki  out of felt needle fred buttons   and high lighters they were called tiki becase we did not weare it around our neck then it was time to go back to school so we said bye, jumped on the bus and went home
